Sometimes in our lives, our paths cross with people we are just meant to be connected with and be friends forever - Emily is one of those people. She is a true #ladyboss and owns a successful, top-notch wedding and event planning business here in Fort Collins, Jolly Events. We originally worked with her for our own wedding back in 2014 (you can see a few photos from that on our personal blog here), and have recommended her to every couple we've come across since- no joke. She is incredible at what she does- she lives up to her name of 'Jolly' and she truly spoils her clients (and her friends). She was the amazing planner for my sister's wedding in October of last year, and the coordinator for several weddings we photographed in 2015. You can see an a video about her awesome biz here (created by Copper Cup Productions- and yes, Max and I are movie stars). She is a fabulous colleague and an even better friend.
For Emily's family photo session, we went to a cute little park by their house- keeping it simple and close for the kiddos- there was still some ice and snow on the ground, but it was a beautiful fall Colorado day with lots of sun. Emily's husband and kids are just the sweetest, and so much fun to photograph. Sometimes not everyone wants to sit still for photos, so we had fun climbing around on the playground, and looking for geese in the lake.
