These two. Their love. This wedding. From the love notes they wrote to each other to read at the beginning of the day, bringing each of them to tears as they read the words of their future wife, to the way they embraced after their first look- the first glimpse they got of one another after a year of planning, of anticipation- the looks on their faces. Love just doesn't get old! It doesn't get better than this! The moments we get to capture, the culmination of all the late nights, the decisions, the hard work, the excitement- we get to be there when it all comes together, and capture, not the perfection of a wedding day, but the creation of a life- the joining of two lives in love- we get to see the happy tears, and the sweet kisses, and we get to feel the connection between two people who love each other so much they want to share that love with the world forever. Laura and Madison's love bounces off every room they are in, it envelopes everyone around them, making you feel warm and welcome, and it's strong. They are two of the sweetest people we've had the pleasure of working with, and we're so happy they found us!
This was a classically beautiful outdoor wedding at Windsong Estate, which is on the outskirts of Fort Collins, Colorado, overlooking beautiful farmland with the Rockies off in the distance. Laura and Madison are one of those couples who have such an eye for design, and knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day, and when we met up last winter to chat details, we hit it off immediately. We were so excited to see all of this come together!
We started the day with Laura and her crew at Gallipot Salon in Fort Collins, which, if you haven't been there yet, you NEED to go! It's such a beautiful space, and the hair artists are all amazing! Madison got ready in one of the beautiful rooms at Windsong, and we did their first look at a little fishing lake down the road. The whole wedding was just stunning- the flowers, the outdoor set-up for the ceremony, the tablescapes - it was all so elegant, and fit Laura and Madison's personalities perfectly.
During their couple's portrait session each of the ladies at one point or another found an animal that they bonded with - Madison scooped up an adorable little frog, and Laura was in heaven when a one-eyed barn cat came up and snuggled her. Madison says they call Laura the "cat-lady" so it was pretty hilarious that cats don't stop flocking to her, even on their wedding day.
They are just two of the sweetest people we've ever had the pleasure of working with, and we had such a fun time celebrating their honest and genuine love, and then of course dancing the night away with their family and friends. The wedding was wrapped up beautifully with a sparkler send-off, and a limo arriving to take the newlyweds away.
