Are these two ladies some of my most favorite humans on the planet? Possibly maybe. Was this one of the most heartfelt, heart-singing, heart-filling, heart-lifting weddings I’ve ever been witness to? Possibly maybe again. Am I in love with their dogs? 100% yes. Katie and Amy stole my heart when we met up in Denver at the Beet Box (if you haven’t been there YOU MUST GO - vegan donuts and delicious bakery items delivered in an authentic, hip, old-school Denver fashion, which is getting harder to find these days) and connected over all things dogs, music, food, and love - the most important things in life, yes? Not only was I stoked about photographing their sweet elopement, but also making two of the coolest friends ever, and getting all the doggie pets possible while doing so.

I am always so honored that two amazing people want to let me in on their precious love together - share their family and friends, extending the umbrella of their family for a day. I know how vulnerable it can feel to be in front of the camera, but it’s also so important to document these moments- to capture the essence of the day, the tiny moments you may forget after time, and to be able to cherish these memories for years to come. It’s truly humbling to be a witness to these love stories, and it renews my faith in humanity day after day to see two people want to spend the rest of their lives together, for better or for worse. Thank you to Katie and Amy, their doggies, family and friends for letting me in, and cheers to a wonderful future together!!
