Andrea + Matt || Wedgewood Weddings Boulder Creek || Boulder, Colorado

I love getting to look back on these beautiful outdoor summer weddings while bundled up drinking hot chocolate before the holidays- although, some of our sunniest days here in Colorado wind up being in the middle of winter, this summer wedding is still giving me warmth, especially since it’s currently snowing here.

Andrea and Matt are two of the most fun, most laid-back, sweetest people we know. They are so creative and had the cutest personal touches added to their day. Matt is a car guy and self-proclaimed gear-head, so he had little wrenches in the boutonnieres, and may have gotten caught cleaning his tires with Andreas dress. whaaaat?! The cake topper was welded out of car parts, they did a beer mixing for their unity ceremony, and walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of Here Comes the Sun, by George Harrison. Their ring bearer was their sweet doggie Maisie, who definitely stole the show with her precious face and her stellar behavior. I’ve seen a lot of dogs be a part of the wedding day, but none as disciplined as Maisie - I was truly impressed! The couple was surrounded by their closest friends and family, and toasted to their love in champagne flutes that belonged to the groom’s parents. They celebrated in a classic style, and closed out the night with an epic dance party, complete with a grand exit in Matt’s Mustang GT.

We had so much fun at this wedding- the staff at Wedgewood on Boulder Creek are always amazing, and the day couldn’t have been any more perfect. Thank you again for letting us be a part of your special day, Andrea and Matt (and Maisie, let’s be honest) - cheers to an awesome marriage, and a wonderful life together!!
