Jillian + Zak || Fort Collins, Colorado Engagement Photographer
May was one of the rainiest months we've ever had in Colorado- at least that's my official weather report- with rain almost every single day for over a month. Jillian and Zak were good sports when we set out for their engagement shoot, even with storm clouds a-brewin' off in the distance, and the Poudre River running high. We found some relatively dry patches in the park, though, and got some beautiful shots before the storm chased us out. From there we hunted down a sunny spot on the CSU campus before heading inside to Zak's graduate office, and down into the bowels of the Physics Department. Probably the cutest thing I've witnessed to date in a science lab (actually, one of the only things I've witnessed in a science lab, other than star-gazing in Astronomy) was Zak demonstrating some physics-y things with Jillian as his assistant. (can you tell I was an art major?)

I am so looking forward to telling their love story, and photographing their wedding in September.
