Victoria + Danny || Bella Vista Estate || Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Well I guess a full year makes it time for me to blog this wedding. HA! Victoria and Danny got married at Bella Vista Estate last September, overlooking the beautiful valley of Steamboat Springs. This was one of the most beautiful wedding weekends we’ve ever spent in Colorado - complete with a night photographing their rehearsal dinner, and then a trip to the Strawberry Park Hot Springs the day after the wedding! I highly recommend, if you’re going to Steamboat for any reason, to make the trip to the hot springs. Always worth it no matter what season (but especially beautiful in the fall).

They began the day at Bella Vista, since they stayed there for the whole wedding weekend (the main house has a full indoor grotto with an incredible view. It’s probably the coolest place to hang out pre-wedding I can think of at the moment), getting ready with friends and family before their afternoon ceremony. The weather was literal fall wedding perfection, and the skies were clear, even with the Silver Creek Fire burning nearby. (yikes!)

They had beautiful florals from HollyAnn with Hop Rabbit Flowers, who was setting up for most of the day to create some gorgeous displays, complete with eucalyptus-draped lights over the head table, and artichokes in the bouquets. The whole weekend went incredibly smoothly thanks to the planning genius of Alex and her crew with SoulSpark Events, and we even got to get some photos with Victoria and Danny’s sweet doggies (one of whom they had JUST adopted on the day of their engagement session back in Fort Collins). I’ve never seen a family have so much fun together on the dance floor, and I’ve never eaten so many delicious cannolis in my life. I am so happy to call these two friends for life, and will definitely be snuggling their sweet pups the next time we get together. Congrats on your first year married, Victoria and Danny, and cheers to forever more together!!
